Kverneland Group Management Team

Ingvald Løyning
President & CEO

Løyning worked for Kverneland Group from 1992 to 1995. He spent 5 years as Managing Director at fish feed producer, Skretting and for the years 1999 and 2000 responsible for all salmon fish feed companies in Nutreco. In 2000 Nutreco, owner of Skretting, acquired Hydro Seafood and merged the company with its other fish farming activities. From the beginning of 2000 to autumn 2002, Løyning was responsible for Nutreco’s fish farming activities (Marine Harvest). From autumn 2002 Løyning was in charge of all Nutreco’s world wide fish feed activities. Prior to Løynings first period in Kverneland Group, he also spent 11 years at IBM where he worked in different positions.

Friedrich Pehle
CFO

Friedrich Pehle joined the Kverneland Group in April 2000. He has held various positions in Kverneland Group Soest GmbH. Most recently as acting Managing Director for Business Area Arable Soil and General Manager for Kverneland Group Soest GmbH but also seven years as Controller in Kverneland Group Soest GmbH. He came to Kverneland Group having been head of finance and controlling in Usines Claas France S.A. in Metz/France. Pehle is educated at University of cooperative education in Germany with specialisation in industrial business administration.

Claus U. Thomsen
Managing Director, BA Grass Equipment

Before Thomsen entered his current position he was in charge of all the activities within the grass business in the Group. He has been in Kverneland Group since 2000 in various managerial positions, among them heading all the R&D activities. Previous background includes positions in Hardi International in Denmark. Thomsen has a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering from Århus Technical University and has a Master Degree of International Management and Economics from Copenhagen Business School.

Anthony van der Ley
Managing Director, BA Arable and Seeding Equipment and BA Crop Care

Anthony van der Ley joined Kverneland Group per the 1st of January 2010. He started his career in 1989 as a trainee with STORK, a Dutch Industrial Group. Until 1994 he filled positions in production, engineering and sales within different divisions. In 1995 he joined the German GEA, a global market leader in technology. In GEA Anthony was involved in the division of separation-technology, and has filled positions within technical-, commercial- and general management functions. His last position at GEA was Divisional Director of Westfalia Separator Food Tec. He was also a member of the Executive Team of Westfalia Separator Group. Anthony completed his studies in Mechanical Engineering at Twente University in 1989. Van der Ley has worked for Kverneland Group before, from October 2007 until January 2009.

Wolfgang Kreienbaum
Managing Director, BA Arable Soil and Plough Equipment

Kreienbaum has wide experience as Production and Factory Manager from several companies (B. Krone, Lemken). He run his own business as a Freelance Factory Manager before he joined the Kverneland Group in Soest as Production Director in 2002. For two year he held the position as GM Business Unit Manager Soil and from February 2007 he was appointed Managing Director BA Arable Soil Equipment. Kreienbaum is educated from F.H. Steinfurt, Technical College Mechanical Engineering.

Arild Gjerde
Group Director Sales and Marketing

Arild Gjerde, Group Director, Sales & Marketing, has held various managerial positions in Kverneland Group and he is currently heading the sales and marketing of the Group. He joined the Group in 2000 as Marketing Director Kverneland Group Klepp. Prior to joining the Kverneland Group, Gjerde held several international management positions within distribution and marketing of equipment for the construction and mining industry. He has also several years experience from corporate banking in Norway. Gjerde has a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Stavanger University College, a Master Degree in International Marketing Management from Copenhagen Business School, and International Business from Stockholm School of Economics.

Magne Svendsen
Managing Director, BA After Sales

Svendsen joined the Kverneland Group in January 2002 as Supply Chain Manager Spare Parts with the overall responsibility for the Group’s spare parts supply chain, followed by positions as Senior Vice President for Spare Parts in August 2005 and Managing Director for BA After Sales since February 2007. He has wide experience from several companies in logistics and leadership (SAS, Apotekernes Fællesindkjøp AS and UNITOR AS). Svendsen completed his studies at the Norwegian School of Management in 1983 specializing within logistics and leadership.
