Peter van der Vlugt, who was previously Vice Chairman of AEF, has taken over from Rainer Hofmann, who stepped down from his position as required by AEF statutes. Marcello Mongiardo, of CNH, was also elected as AEF’s new Vice Chairman. The new management team aims to complete and integrate the AEF ISOBUS databases and the AEF Conformance Test.

Van der Vlugt, who is now AEF Chairman for a period of 2 years, hopes to continue to strengthen and grow AEF’s activities, giving priority to important subjects relating to ISOBUS. “We believe that ISOBUS Technology in Agricultural Business is the key for our future generation. In AEF we found our partners that support this strategy,” he said. Peter van der Vlugt is Product Development Manager at Kverneland Group Mechatronics BV, in Nieuw-Vennep (The Netherlands). This is the dedicated technology centre for electronic controls and systems for all agricultural implements within Kverneland Group.
